Sentence style-1

A: 今から 昼ごはんを たべます。
A: I’m going to eat meal from now on.

B: (電話) こんにちは。 今、 いいですか。
B: (Telephone) Hello.Is it okay now?

A: すみません。 今から、ご飯を 食べるところです。
A: Excuse me. From now on, I’m about to eat meal.

「(V辞書形)ところです」 食べるところです ⇒ just before
“(V dictionary)tokoro” ⇒ just before

「これから」「(ちょうど)今から」と共 に 用いられることが 多い。
It is often used together with “from now on” and “(just) from now on”.

B: すみません。 じゃ、 またあとで 電話します。
B: Excuse me. Then, I’ll call you later.

B: (電話) もう、食べ終わりましたか。
B: (Telephone) Have you finished eating yet?

A: いいえ、 今食べているところです。 
A: No, I’m eating now.

「(V(て形)いるところです」 食べているところです ⇒ just be doing

「(V(た形))ばかりです」⇒ (V(た形))をやって 時間が あまり たって いないこと

Yeah, I haven’t seen him yet.

彼は、会社に 来ているはずです。
He should have come to the company.

ジョンさんは 朝から 打合せって 言っていましたよ。
John said that he had a meeting from the morning.

⇒  話し手が、必ず成り立つという判断をしている。
The speaker has judged it is so in this case.

髪が 伸びて うっとうしいです。
My hair is growing and it’s annoying.

今日、帰ったら、髪を 切りに 行って きます。
When I get home today, I will go to cut my hair.

・・・ あれ、 今日は、 月曜日じゃ ないですか。
Oh, isn’t it Monday today?

今日は 月曜日ですから、 あの店は 休みの はずですよ。
Today is Monday, so that store should be closed.

今日は、 みんな 文化祭の 準備で 朝からの 遅くまで頑張って いました。
